Featuring a soapbox derby, community dinner, youth dance, parade and other family-friendly events, Blackfalds Days is one of the post popular yearly festivals. There are also a large number of clubs and community organizations for both children and adults in Blackfalds, including Brownie and Scout troups and sports teams. In particular, the Blackfalds & District Agricultural Society has played an important roll in shaping the culture of the community, having hosted many dance socials and dinners.
